Bailey Caravans

Bailey has been crafting caravans since 1947, marking the debut with its inaugural model, the Maestro. Following the successful design and creation of the Bailey Maestro, its popularity endured for numerous years.

During the 1950s, amidst the post-war housing crisis, Bailey Caravans gained increasing popularity across the UK and beyond. In the 1960s, a new location in South Bristol was acquired, a site that remains in use to this present day. Over the subsequent years, the brand witnessed continued expansion and in the 1970s, it was acquired by Patrick & Stephen Howard, who retain ownership of the brand to this day.

During the 1980s, Bailey Caravans expanded its operations by acquiring additional land and accelerating production. In 1982, the company unveiled the inaugural Bailey Pageant, a model that achieved remarkable success and went on to become the most prosperous range in the company’s history, boasting over 25 years of uninterrupted production.

As of 2022, the company produces over 7500 vehicles annually, each hand-made at their Bristol factory.
